My journey into work as a postpartum doula began with my own experience. Though I was surrounded by a loving partner and support system, I found the early days of postpartum to be jarring. I longed for the village that no longer exists and wanted someone to show me how to trust myself again. It was full of joy but also struggle. After some time, I strongly desired to help other parents through this experience.
Families already possess everything they need to move through this major life transition. It is my job to support you lovingly and openly. My support starts through listening and observing to understand your goals and needs. As we work together, I will share tips, offer healing through movement, and help you remember to keep things light, amidst the most challenging moments. My greatest desire is for you to feel confident, curious, and at ease as much as possible during this time of change.
